The saying, ‘you are what you eat’ is certainly true! Eating the right balance of nutrients and energy keeps your major organs such as your heart, liver, skeleton, and skin in peak condition. This in turn, reduces your chances of suffering from disease and aids in the recovery of illnesses and wounds.
A poor diet will reflect in the way you feel, your mood and in the way you look. You have one body to last you your whole life and so it is important to take good care of such a precious gift. As with any complicated machinery, you will need maintenance and careful handling.
Over the years, I have found that until we are prepared to nuture and respect our bodies, only then will we be on the path to good health.
